Royal Centre

Precast seating and planter elements for the redeveloped lobby and plaza at 1055 West Georgia, Vancouver

When Royal Centre rebuilt its ground plane — a new glass canopy over the plaza, a reworked lobby beneath the tower — the landscape came with a continuous language of curves: serpentine planters, ring benches wrapping planted islands, seating that flows instead of sitting in rows. Szolyd cast those elements and installed them through spring 2026. Every curve is precast concrete, made in our Shawnigan Lake shop and trucked to Georgia Street.
